I hope you are all ready to study together, to search the Scriptures together and encourage each other. #FacebookThursdayNightBibleStudy # 9 Inner Child (The Truth or A Trick) (3/27/14) With the popular psychology and analytical psychology of the “INNER CHILD” (a semi-independent entity subordinate to the waking conscious mind) used in counseling and holistic health we find many none Christians and Christians alike looking to tap into, accept, nurture, protect and even resurrect/give life to this “inner child” that is supposedly inside of all of us. Questions: Is this Biblical? Does unresolved childhood experiences, dysfunctional childhood and the mental-emotional memories stored in the sub-conscious from conception thru pre-puberty explain or hold the keys to adjusting, transforming, resolving and fixing the inner struggles, daily challenges and disparaging cycles people go through? Is this just another strategic means by which the enemy can keep people stuck in the past, keep them blaming others, not take responsibility for their own actions and drag people into the demonic oppression of double mindedness, split personalities, bipolar, depression or schizophrenia? A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
