Welcome everyone. Here is my simple stance: atheism is irrational because its basic premise is that intelligence came from non-intelligence, consciousness came from unconsciousness. The other stance is that all atheists Ive heard attack religion from the simplest most ridiculous aspects, e.g. since the 7 day creation, and everything is the bible isnt literally true,t therefore there is no universal consciousness, everything is accidental, etc. I even heard Derren Brown whom I consider the greatest mentalist in the world, argue that spirituality doesnt exist because the argument someone posited that God exists because a banana is easy to open is dumb. Anyway thats a good starting point. Any thoughts?
