Welcome to Jamies Fight for a Cure! My name is Jamie and I have a disease called Mitochondrial Disease. My goal is to raise as much awareness and research funds as possible so a cure can be found for this deadly disease. Most people have no clue what Mito even is. Mito is a life threatening and degenerative disease that is caused by a defect in the mitochondria, the power houses of the cells. Without working mitochondria its like trying to run a whole household on one AA battery. It just plain doesnt work right.
