Welcome to Lake Fork..... Lake level is - 7ft now and surface temps are averaging about 55 degrees. On the last long cold front we had seen water temp as low as 48 degrees.The bite been very good for us lately and should continue to improve with the fish feeding up for Winter.This past week there was the first sharelunker of the season that weighed 13.88 which is great news for the lake. Congrats to him and the guide! My client also had a 11.71 last week and several other big bass have been caught recently. November has been a great month of fishing for us.The fish are being caught in all depths of water and on several techniques We have been concentrating on the deeper fish though. The spoon has really been the best bite for us in 22 to 27 on humps, roadbeds and ridges where the fish are feeding on bar fish and small sand bass. Nech Premium Lures has a 3 1/2 copper spoon with 14 caret plating that has been fishing well. On cloudy days the Goldilocks color has been the best and Silver Bullet and Shad have been good on real bright days.This spoon has reflective properties in it and the fish seem to detect it well. A-rigs are also producing well On these Im still using 3 and 3 1/2 size baits. Zooms swimming flukes and Missiles Shockwave will work good On the shallow bite Xcites XB1 crank bait in shad type colors early and late on main lake and secondary points and also in the far back of creeks around wood.This is a great shallow crankbait. Also try the silent one they make at times and cover water with it You can catch them right now on several different baits just experiment some.You just have to keep in mind their on a shad type bite in the shallows right now.
