Welcome to Myopic Jimmy’s Movie Reviews. Today’s movie is “Olympus Has Fallen.” First off, the First Lady (Ashley Judd) falls off a bridge. The President wants to go see if she’s okay, but the Secret Service tells him, “Why bother, she’s probably dead down there anyway.” Then, a bunch of Koreans take over the White House by flying in an old C-130 cargo plane and driving in two garbage trucks. When the Speaker of the House (Morgan Freeman) is told that the President and V.P. are both inoperable, “So as of now, you are the acting President of the United States,” he asks, “of America?” The guy playing Bruce Willis kills all the Koreans. When the head Korean, dying, is asked if he has any regrets about the way he has lived his life, he says, “Just one. I watched the Country Music Awards.” Three Stars. -30-
