Welcome to Paw4Change I have some new folks visiting my wall for one reason or another. Hello and welcome. My name is Aubrie and Im an animal welfare advocate. I confess that I am on Facebook as a means to an end; most of my information is on my web site by the same name. My web site needs some updates so if you find any broken links there, by all means let me know. paws4change/ I became an advocate in 2006 after we had to let our dog go and after I learned what was happening at my local animal shelter. Another story for another day. We all have times in our lives when some event puts us on a new path we did not expect and such was the case for me. I began doing volunteer work for nonprofits here and there as an outlet for my frustration and to try to help those in the trenches helping animals.I ultimately decided to publish a web site a few years back as an alternative to having just a Youtube channel to display my slideshow work. I am not a subject matter expert on any of the subjects shown on my web site. The hope is that you visit, learn a bit and then you can learn more from the real experts I link to on the site. Ive been spending a lot of time trying to make the community where I work a no kill community and I tend to rant about that here on occasion. My hope is that my advocacy right in my own back yard related to the shelter will wind down at some point and I will not longer need to be so outspoken in my views. Welcome all. This particular project is in need of a facelift but it uses my favorite Fisher torch song and is a good intro to what goes on inside my head.
