This is a Lunar Sabbath group and all reasonable views are welcome. Amongst the membership you will find people who support First Visible Crescent and Dark Moon Conjunction as well as those like me who observe Full Moon Rosh Chodesh. My mother taught me as a child, If you dont have something kind to say, dont say anything at all. That is a good rule of thumb for this group. Those of us who are extremely serious about our faith in Messiah Yeshua believe keeping the 7th Day of YHWH to be a fundamental/foundational element in our expression of love toward our Creator and Redeemer, its not to be taken lightly as though to belong to a club or even this group. It is clear to us there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING held in common between todays Roman Catholic Gregorian calendar and the calendar of our Creator which was placed in the heavens above. At this point in time there is a worldwide movement to restore the calendar of YHWH. There are naturally differences of opinion in the minds of men as to what constitutes truth in that restoration. I will post a list of online resources you can use to educate yourself on Lunar Sabbath keeping. Most of us who understand Lunar Sabbath keeping to be true agree that the 1st Day of every month is not a work day or a weekly Sabbath. Rather, it is a third classification of monthly day known as Rosh Chodesh (Head of New Moon). It is NEVER a work day or Sabbath (Ezekiel 46:1). Therefore the weekly Sabbaths ALWAYS fall on the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th Days of every month. What is left to become a consensus view is what phase of the moons monthly cycle constitutes Rosh Chodesh as well as how and when to begin the New Year.
