Welcome to The Clinic; a weekly series showing you the essential features of the Play Creator application. In this webisode, were going to show you how to draw a play. Go to the Draw icon at the bottom of the page and select the following options from the drop-down menu: Draw tool features • Set Style -- Add nine different color schemes to solid, capped, arrow or dotted line styles. Choose Draw when finished to set your desired line style. Use a capped line to draw blocking assignments, a dotted line for ball movement, a solid line for running routes, and an arrow line for passing routes. • Draw line -- Touch and drag your finger anywhere on the playing field to draw a blocking assignment, passing route or running route. Click Cancel when finished. • Draw curve -- Touch and drag to set the curves endpoints. Then, touch and drag on the line to adjust curvature. This feature is great for drawing curl passing routes. • Draw Triangle -- Touch anywhere on the playing field three times to set the triangles vertices. Click Cancel when finished. This feature is useful for drawing pass options in a triangle offense or outlining defensive coverage areas. • Draw Circle -- Touch and drag your finger anywhere on the playing field to add a circle. Click Cancel when finished. This feature is great for identifying defensive coverage areas and offensive passing areas. • Erase lines, notes or shapes -- Touch a line, note or shape to erase. Click Cancel when finished. • Add note -- Touch the empty space below Enter Note Text to add a coachs comment. Choose OK when finished. Then, touch and drag to set the frame of the note. Click Cancel when finished. This feature is meant to show player-specific comments. • Add objects -- Choose a cone or a tire. Touch anywhere on the playing field to set an object in place. Click Cancel when finished. This feature is great for setting up offensive or defensive drills. Player-specific features: • Rotate -- Touch and hold the rotate icon for a 360 degree range of motion in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. Choose Back or touch outside the square area when finished. This feature is useful for changing direction and turning towards the ball at the end of a route. • Set label -- Identify a player by option number, position or letter.
