Welcome to Wednesdays With Wes! We made our return to the Magic Mile of New Hampshire Motor Speedway, a track where both of our drivers have seen Victory Lane and Brian Vickers came close again this week, leading 15 laps with one of the best handling cars of the entire field and came away with his 8th Top-10 finish of 2014. The last third of the race was slowed be a series of on track incidents causing 15 cautions (63 laps) that completely skewed the fuel mileage plans of many teams hurting some and helping others. Remember that this week is the last race in the eliminator round of the Chase Grid and with 9 drivers on the bubble of being part of the 4 eliminated we are sure to see some really hard racing. Don’t forget about the quality teams that are not in the Chase, they aren’t going to lay over for anyone and they are probably the ones to watch, because a man with nothing to lose can be very dangerous.
