Welcome to all new gardeners! We had a wonderful dAy today, planting our freebies and lots more. Had a wonderful lunch and morning tea. Many thanks to Ken, Kerry (who did most of the food prep) Janet, who worked Thursday and today in the garden and ably took my place while we were on holidays. Dave and Marilyn from One Eco were really impressed with our little group and has told us that we will be his first call when he has leftovers from his landscaping jobs. He has been most generous to our group. Martin from Dept. environment also has offered to give us some advice on making more use of the area. He says that going up I.e. Climbing plants etc., is an excellent way to utilise space, but will talk to us again soon with his thoughts. Whatever, I am really excited at the enthusiasm and willingness shown today. Thank you ALL for your contributions. We will have another coffee morning at Lonsdale Roasters soon. Watch this page.
