Welcome to my walk! I am now back to my favorite and easiest exercise! Bronson and I have resumed our early-morn walks, at least for this week, which means, today and Wednesday as he will then be off to N.Y. As part of his birthday celebration for this year! Last year, he was at a Buddhist Monastery where he participated in meditation and various up-keep projects around the facility. Not, this year, though. The calls of friends and broader City-fied activities are rife with fantastic memories to make. Our walk was especially enjoyable after these several days of relaxing to recover my strength since the Colonoscopy procedure this last Friday. To those whom have not had that test, it turned out to be more taxing than I had thought it would be.. But, after our 1.79 mile walk today, I know that I will be in fine fettle for my walk with Marion, after dinner this evening. although the morning was a little brisk, temperature-wise. (Low 60s, but Im L.A. spoiled!), as soon as we were walking at our usual pace, I warmed-up substantially and was feeling renewed in no time! The 7:00A.M. Sun rose in the Eastern sky at a pace to match our own. By the time we arched the corner and passed the bus-stop at Santa Monica Blvd. and La Brea Ave. and sashayed through the doors at Starbucks the sunrise displayed one of my favorite color- palettes... The clouds evolved from the sturdy, medium grey of a chain-link fence upward to the palest grey underside of a Morning Dove, and that surrounded the morning sun, dressed in in Butternut Squash, Yellow. The halo tracing of the sun was a bright iridescent, white. Once inside, Bronson and I made our usual hellos to the first arrivals of our Starbuck, Breakfast Club. And to the, at-the-ready, Starbucks Staff all ready at work drawing our usual brews. As usual, we take a few minutes to swap information regarding what has transpired in our individual lives since last, we physically visited. A last minute, sip of coffee and we are,Outty/Autty as Bronson says. Briskly back to my little apartment, for me. And for Bronson to reclaim his car. A car, which I am in love with because of its sporty shaped, convertible self and the non- usual crimson with just the right amounts of crimson and pale gold Metal-Flake. Hugs, kisses and a last crooked, index finger,(our longtime, Family signal, meaning, I love you! Until Wednesday morning, when we will magically behold yet another gift of the Universe, a new day! Now, get out there and walk with someone you love!
