We are pleased to be able to open our doors for our amazing Metroplex teachers and staff. We have developed a number of educational programs and activities that not only help deliver the information vital to students’ education, but are also TONS OF FUN! Come see what we’re all about! When: Tuesday, August 12, 2014 12-4pm Where: Longhorn Activity Center 5350 Basswood Blvd Fort Worth, TX 76137 Cost: ABSOLUTELY FREE! RSVP: simply reply to this email and let us know you’re coming. We’ll provide snacks and drinks, too! Be sure to register for our giveaways: GRAND PRIZE: a free animal program at your school or facility. We’ll come to you and teach to YOUR plan! We’ve got lizards, turtles and tortoises! We have snakes from four inches to eight feet – boas, pythons, a big collection of native Texas species and the only complete collection of all 37 US kingsnake species. We’ve got spiders and invertebrates! We’ve got hedgehogs and prairie dogs! We’ve even got a big parrot with an even bigger attitude! You tell us what you want us to teach, we’ll bring the animals and teach it! FIRST PRIZE: a huge basket of teacher supplies and goodies! Let us help you get the year started right! We’ll include pencils, pens, crayons, markers, folders, tissue – you know what, it’s LOTS of stuff! MINI-PRIZES: pens, pencils, shirts, gift cards and other fun things! While you’re there: be sure to talk to the staff about how we can help with your school year. Our director comes from ten years working in informal education and partnering with area educators to advance our students as well as we can. Our group can cover everything from creative writing to biology and advanced math to engineering. All grade levels can be accommodated, and a consultation with our team is absolutely FREE. We can even help with troublesome areas of standardized tests and we are very much looking forward to working with each and every one of you!
