Welcome to the Pre-Fascist State: Middle-School U.S.A. Paraphrase: "I am not suggesting or advocating for jury nullification in the case of espionage against Edward Snowden, if, in fact, he must eventually go to trial and face an American jury. I may not have the right under the First Amendment to suggest jury nullification in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges--it could indeed be interpreted as a criminal act. However, recognizing that I may not have the legal right to suggest or advocate for jury nullification in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges, I am just going to go ahead and throw the idea of jury nullification in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges out there for everyone to consider simply because it is a possibility--indeed a very applicable one--in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges. I am not specifically advocating for jury nullification in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges--once again, that could be construed as a criminal act--but I am simply indicating that I would not mind it very much if jury nullification happens to be the actual outcome of the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges, and I am hoping that you just might sort of see things in the same way as I do about the potential outcome of the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges, and, if you have not considered the possibility of jury nullification in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges, I really hope that you will consider all possibilities--especially the possibility of jury nullification--in the trial of Edward Snowden on espionage charges. So, (a) Edward Snowden, (b) espionage, and (c) jury nullification. Got it?" theatlantic/politics/archive/2013/07/would-an-american-jury-even-convict-edward-snowden/277830/
