Without life giving mother Ganga flowing through its veins, India cannot be rejuvenated from its moribund state to become the civilization it once was. Let all of us try to dredge, deepen and clean not just Ganga but all Rivers, Basins, Reservoirs in India on War Footing basis. At the same time, if one can for a moment keep the rhetoric and the religious sentimentality aside for a moment , harness all available indigenous forces to restore the Ganga to its pristine glory, like the Mississippi or any of the south American or European rivers, results will promptly show up ,in time.
