Well - Chucks dad, George David Hess, age 97, passed away tonight at 9:20 central time, 10:20 ours. He just stopped breathing which is a blessing b/c he never suffered. He is now happy and reunited with his wife whom he has missed for a few years. Unsure of memorial service time or details. Several problems b/c DJ is to drive older couple from Tampa to their NC vacation which he attends annually with his adopted family and grandkids from Bham and La. leaving 19th. My home zoo is nuts with 4 normally loving precious housecats sequestered into 3 rooms with intent to kill each other if not so. Then there are the 2 dogs - my elder one and DJs big coon hound who is not fully housetrained and wont go out if is wet - which is all the time in Florida. Our awesome neighbor dogsitter will be gone 7/19-28. I would never ask anyone else to even attempt keeping them. I was worried sick on our trip about her so depending on memorial, I guess I will have to stay here. Please pray for Georges sister Marilyn Mills in Roanoke area. Their other sister just died in the last 2 weeks and Marilyn is the last one left. Chucks off to bed and Dj is out with his best friend from childhood.
