Well 2014 is drawing to a close. The year brought many changes to the Phillips household. Johnny P ran his first Marathon, after 19 yrs in the lunch room at PHS I made a job change and moved to the classroom. Michael and Haley stepped out and bought a bigger house, and then Matt got married and bought his first home this fall. Lots of exciting things happened throughout the yr and now I guess the biggest change for Johnny P and I is that we are now true empty nesters, and are now in the process of down sizing. We will begin the yr 2015 in a brand new home, much smaller of course it will be strange knowing that we will be back to square one just like we were when we bought our first home when we got married. Setting up a home with no children will definetely be different. Everyone says it is will be an adventure and wish they were brave enough to do it too. The adventure part is yet to be determined but we will see come spring time when we realize we dont have 5 plus acres to mow and have hundreds of flowers to put in the ground pressure wash wrap around porches and get the pool cover off and get the pool ready for the summer but instead say hey lets take off and go somewhere this weekend. Then we will say let the adventure begin! haha! I hope everyone has a safe and blessed New Years. Rem our chapters are not over until God says they are. Make the most of this New Year enjoy your family and friends, enjoy life, do something for others, love deeply, laugh often and forgive more than you ever have before. There will triumphs and sadly maybe some failures but just know you will come through it and before you know it you will be saying wow can you believe it is 2016! haha! time flies so enjoy the ride my friends. ....Happy New Year!!....
