Well. 4 am X-ray shows a pocket of fluid in his lung still. Since he was on bipass it makes the lungs wet and so did being on the breathing tube so long. There are these bulb pressure drains up in his chest to drain out lungs and fluid but the one draining his right side has not been working this whole time. So giving as many diuretics as they can to get this fluid out. So far not a ton of progress. Another surgery to clear the lungs or going into his side and suctioning are possibilities. He sounds terrible and all that gunk is preventing him from eating. His new heart also has new blood flow and when he is angry the Glenn rushes all his blood to his head giving him bad headaches. This usually continues awhile - month or two- until his body get use to the new flow. That being said he is a bit happier today. We have had glimpses of our son this am being himself but last night was a train wreck.
