Well America you have spoken. I can not help but believe that buyers remorse will arise in the not too distant future. We are told this Presidency is a failure. Really. Many months of consistent job growth; 10 million jobs created since the market collapse. Dow at all time highs, unemployment under 6%. Troops home from Irag, and soon to be out of Afghanistan. Bin Ladin killed. Dont Ask/Dont tell gone. DOMA gone. Millions more with affordable health care thru the ACA...a perfect plan...no, but progress in the right direction. By what metrics are we worse off than 6 years ago? The electorate is angry at gridlock; I can not help but believe their anger is misdirected. I think many Americans are not seeing financial gains because of growing income inequality. The minimum wage needs to be raised, student debt needs to be addressed, jobs need to be created by updating our wretched infrastructure, we need more spending on alternative energy sources, etc. If people believe the new Republican House and Senate will address these issues... I say dont hold your breath!
