Well Ashley! I did it! Went straight up the bugger and gotter done! Took the less travelled treed ridge up and luckily ran into some well camouflaged cairns midway. (see pics). Made it just barely past treeline and got hit by a thunderstorm! I swear it was only the width of the mountain I chose to climb! WTH! I was so determined to bag that bloody peak, that I just sat under a tree eating cookies until it mostly passed (about 20 minutes). Fashioned a nifty rain bonnet out of the plastic grocery bag I had my snacks in and carried on.(Mountain girl life hack :) ) (at this time I would like to not only thank Safeway for my technical headwear, but the hummus in a squeezy tube Company for my nutrition) To sum up, it was awesome! Hiking the ridge of the Rimwall was the best, and the summit had the best view of the backside of the Three Sisters. Windtower looked epic in the shadow of a thunder cloud, and the Spray Valley was in full view the whole time. Heres the kicker though. Thought I had the decent nailed as I came down to the left of the drainage basin. Guess what! There are TWO drainage basins! Ended up pretty much wingin it and eventually ended up cutting through the trees right where we did! Took lots of pics. Enjoy :)
