Well, Buddy has earned his keep. After 13 years, of nearly driving me insane with his insatiable need for attention; including the fact that he has jumped, slobbered, and knocked over just about everyone I know. HE sheds no less than a full dog twice a day...and drags in countless amounts of dirt. Buddy has lovers and haters but all in all he has been a good dog. Yesterday, like I said, he earned his keep. While mom (me) was busy helping Zack with homework, Joey,(3) had wandered off from his sandbox and was venturing very close to the street. I heard Buddy barking his high pitched upset bark and turned to tell him to, Shut it, and stop barking and realized he was barking at Joey...Buddy stood about ten feet from Joey who was slowly but surely making his way to the road, and barking frantically at the back of the house, (where I was). I ran out and got Joey while Buddy jumped around me. Like I said, he earned his keep.
