Well...Dr. Spence is kind at a loss. My numbers look better but I keep needing more Oxygen but am still dropping my Oxygen Saturation. Which isnt good. This can hurt my brain and my eyes. Theyre running lots of tests on me right now and they just set another IV for another round of blood. The tests are to figure out if I have another infection or if its just my lungs. Mommy saw my chest x-ray this morning and my lungs dont look very good. Depending on my test results they may try to switch me back to the Dräger (normal) vent. This vent will get Oxygen in me better and then I wont need such a high amount of oxygen. I didnt like this vent before, so they had to put me back on the Oscillator vent. She said that the theres probably gonna be some damage to my brain because of being born so early, being on the vent and needing so much Oxygen. But Momma says we wont believe it until there are tests to prove it. I had a test the other day that said Im at risk at having Cystic Fibrosis, too. But they cant do the test to be sure until Im bigger, so we dont know. That is a yucky disease and I dont want it! Please pray for my little body, especially my lungs, brain and that Im healthy and dont have Cystic Fibrosis. Pray that if they try the Dräger, that I like it and it works quickly.
