Well, I couldnt have asked for a nicer first gig of the tour. Huge huge thanks to the wonderful Peter and Leni van Zeijl of Podium Café Peter en Leni, and Im delighted to be able to announce that Ill be back here on Friday March 6 2015 -- which will be not only the first gig of my 2015 European tour but also the launch event for my new album! Yippee! Big thanks also to all the familiar faces who turned up last night, especially Roy Gullane of Tannahill Weavers fame, Willem and Maria, Frans and Silvia and Astrid and Sieb-Klaas! Thanks as well to Martin van der Laan of Radio Compagnie for a lovely long interview and for coming along to the show, to Esme for working so hard in the kitchen and behind the bar, and to Gijs the puppy for behaving himself so well! Cant wait to see you all again next year. Now were off to Zevenaar, where Im playing tonight at Muziekcafé De Lantaern. Tomorrow night Ill be at The Brussels Folk Club - aka The Brussels Folk club at The Black Door - in Brussels, Belgium. Looking forward to it!
