Well I did my run (more of a hobble lol) but heres my take aways: - I only made it 20 out of the 30 minutes and walked the last ten. Body was sore and felt like lead. -5pm is NOT the time to run. The heat was nauseating! Tomorrow I will try running around 8pm and see if thats better! If not.. Looks like 5am is about to be my best friend. Ok on the positive side! -I focused on my form and felt comfortable overall. feet werent pounding the pavement, and I could feel myself focusing on the mid foot strike rather than heel toe. A small adjustment but good one! -my breathing was spot on. Focusing on breath seems boring but in the past Ive found it to be almost the most important part! So I was happy to feel my cardiovascular system somewhat cooperating. -deodorant on thighs. No chafing. Excellent. Aaaaand I did better than all of the people sitting on their porches waving at me while they smoke cigarettes (; A crappy run is better than no run and there were improvements (: one day closer!! (:
