Well. I dont mind saying that I put everything, heart soul and intelligence into at least 6 months of campaigning. And I loved every second of it and made all sorts of gains for the issues I love to progress. But the post election week has not been the rest-recovery period that I needed. Because I am a terrible no person. I often cant say it. So Ive still had tv appearances, numerous radio interviews, public speaking engagements and 3 days of activist resistance and marae stay. And I love all of that too. Nothing is true until its on facebook (lol) so I am going to declare an actual rest period so you can all hold me to it. My voice is one of millions and is not needed, and I need to convince my ego of that. I want to sleep and roll around with my children. And not much else. Because right now having returned from the marae I am barely managing to get off the couch. I am on notice to start having an actual rest. Thanks xx
