Well, I finally made it home from Illinois but not without a scary moment. While sailing along at 75mph on Interstate 64 thru Lexington, Kentucky, my right front tire blows out. I grab the steering wheel and did some fancy stunt driving, avoiding 3 tractor/trailers and 2 cars on a 6-lane highway. I managed to steer away from 2 of the tractor/trailers with the other one baring down on my tail. Fortunately, one of the cars saw what happened and got out of the way. I somehow, by the grace of the good Lord above, got my truck to the shoulder of the highway. I sat there for about 3 minutes before I looked up and wondered how I kept from being crushed by 2 of the tractor/trailers and managed to not get anyone else killed. Ive always been the type of driver who checks his mirrors regular. It pays to know whats around you when youre driving on an interstate. I always try to leave myself an escape route. You never know what can happen in a matter of seconds... I know I was pale as I sat there on the shoulder.....Should have taken a selfie.....lol
