Well I found out that hospice has been called in for my grandmother this evening I do not know how long she has left. Im so very heart broken right now I havent got to see her or speak to her I havent got to say goodbye or that I love her or anything and now Im wondering if I even will be able to. Im so lost right now Im so heartbroken I just bust out crying because I look at a can of yams knowing she is the one who taught me to make her sweet potato pie and I know thanksgiving is in a couple weeks and I am to make that and I just wont be able to I know I wont I cant and then just the thought of thanksgiving dinner period I lose it because she taught me to make everything I know how to make for my dinner and every year I always have to be reminded how to make something or need a temp for something and now I will never ever be able to call her for that again I wanted her to teach me so much more I never learned her special Christmas salad she makes and I never got the chance to find out how to make her famous pumpkin roll or her spiced apple sauce. To some this is dumb but to me and my family this is what we grew up with my grandma always in the kitchen making something we have all learned to cook from her and now are mentor will be gone. She always was making stuff to she was so crafty she made her dolls and bears clothes for the girls curtains she made my babies baby blankets Im sure she made buggas too. She was always changing her home every time you would walk in it was different either in color or border or her furniture was always rearranged. My Grandma is an amazing women very strong very independent beautiful kind loving I never heard her complain if she was in pain she refused to take pain meds even for a headache she refused to take Tylenol. There is so much more I could say about this amazing women but I will save that for another time. Please just keep my nan in your prayers and please keep my family in them as well! Please pray that everyone who needs to say there good byes and there I love yous gets a chance because we need that! I love you nan!
