Had Rameriez presented a weapon then, and only then...can the officer use deadly force. Just because he was wanted for armed robbery, does not mean he is guilty of armed robbery. In the United States we used to have the presumption of innocence over guilt...that is not the case anymore apparently. This officer was unprofessional, and made a lot of mistakes...like approaching a car full of people WITHOUT BACKUP being on scene...using profanity to the people, and then using profanity over the radio...which is an FCC violation and is against the law..not to mention the fact that it is extremely unprofessional. Police officers put their lives in danger every day, and they know this when they sign up. They also know and are trained that they need to give the citizens the benefit of the doubt, and if that means the police officers gets hurt then so bet it...occupational hazard. You cannot just light people up because they dont listen to you and you are nervous. If I did that every time I dealt with people like that in armed security for the private sector...I would be in prison for the rest of my life. If any of us acted like that, and shot someone that was unarmed like you can see in the video....we would be in jail. I have a friend in jail now for defending himself, and this officer not only walks free he keeps his job? A dangerous precedent has just been set, and we are without a doubt the enemy....its something anyone with any sense has known for years and this video proves it, even in Montana the cops are trigger happy killers.
