Well, I guess I have one more thing to say today: Came to me while cleaning the kitchen; my best insights often do. Look, I have been hurt in Deep, Inexcusable Ways in my life. By more than one... You want to know the secret to my health, vitality, peace, joy, and youthfulness at 69 years of age? I have not held it against them. And I have not returned in kind. Thats it. Oh, I have gotten angry. Really angry at times. I have railed and I have thrown things. No kidding. I have Complained Ferociously to God. But, after I have worn myself out in those erstwhile but temporarily necessary endeavors, I have returned to sanity. :) And turned around and treated them as I would like to be treated. As I wish they had treated me. It is that simple. Someone has wounded you beyond belief and goes on wounding you? I have been there. Done that. I Know what youre talking... Wounding in return will ensure you will struggle in a prison of your own making for life. Returning love...unconditional love...and forgiveness for inexcusable sins against you. Will put you on a path of freedom like you wouldnt believe. Only then will you truly understand Christs sacrificial heart for All. All. All. No matter What Others Do To Him. Or Have Done to Him. God, grant peace to this hurting world tonight...
