Well I guess most of you know what happened to us today, our lovely boat Roamer sank at the wharf and also our catch with it. Thankful it didnt happen halfway across the bay, everyone is ok but shocked and tearful. A sad ending for poor old Roamer, she was a lovely boat. Got her floating and back at the moorings but id say she is stuffed. I cant thank everyone enough for helping today, from the water police, maritime, the slipway with Bungeye, Panda for diving, Dave Millard for towing us; Steve Skeers for helping load the catch into the dump truck, Josh Jarvis and Steve Hunter for throwing fish; the list goes on. We probably have a lot of beer to buy. Off now for a drink and a recovery session. xx
