Well.... I had to break down and get my truck fixed before it did break down most likely nowhere near Bumfu Egypt. The Beast got an oil and filter change not only for the engine but the transmission too. Tranny got a drain plug installed in the pan, greased ALL the zerks on it and the rear brakes got adjusted. Thanks to Joe Schultz at his shop and his employee Mr. DeSoto (not sure of the spelling ). The Beast even got gassed up to a lever not seen all summer long and it hurt to do that. To make sure everything was good I did a beat run to Hinckley and back with pleasing results. The only thing that has/ had me worried was when the tranny pan was dropped was the fact that loose bolts were found in the bottom of the pan. Bolts re-installed, filter changed, pan re-fitted and filled and it works again and it seems to shift a little more solidly. :D
