Well, I have a decent worker thank God and it is the ONLY reason my son will come back. I just told him that he was the only one who treated me like a human being. I have requested that he be my social worker permanently as I dont want my family exposed to the abusive finger pointing without investigating behaviour of other social worker. This one guy is responsible, this one guy takes his job seriously, this one guy isnt taking shortcuts and considering what certain judgement will do to a family. Like many of you, my family was nearly destroyed by a CAS social worker, this person going on Mat leave was the best thing that could have ever happened. This worker believes himself to be more a teacher than a disciplinaryan and he told me that believes that such actions should be a last resort to a family that doesnt want to change their ways which isnt a case for me and my wife as he explained. I just asked if he can be my permanent worker, I told him myself that I am afraid of abuse and threats to my family from past workers as I am willing to drive across two cities to see him instead of risking my families well being with anybody else. All I am truely sure about is that there will be certain things that he can and cannot do and I am sure his managers wont be as helpful as him in us being a true family.
