Well, I have been here at moms for a little over a week and Ive seen my mom regain a sense of calm and hope in her heart. Seen incredible improvement with my step dad and see him doing things, though at a different pace, doing things that he was doing for years with mom that he hasnt done since the brain bleed. Hes sleeping well, walking well even helping mom dry dishes. its things like that that encourages me that they can have that good life together again. They love helping each other and cooking. Mom may be 80 but shes still got it with some of her specialties off the stove. Having said that Im trusting my instincts and my moms that I can believe its ok for me to return home. Shes without a doubt the strongest woman I know and hes a gentle soul but Ive been around awhile and I could tell she was fragile when I got here and today shes plotin and planin and I like that. Kids probably wish Id stay longer then they could run around in their underware. hahaha. But what more could a dad do than curtail that freedom. I stand by my strengths. Im kidding, no Im not. so , Ill be flying back Wednesday get back to watching my kids plan for a wedding. Say a prayer for my mom n pop
