Well I have not been able to share this with anyone other than my dad last night, so I figured I would everyone who has been watching my career decisions over the last 9 years and few weeks. Last night I talked to a SFC Rothstein from USAREC at Fort Knox, KY. We discussed my recent recruiter application packet, she stated during our phone call that she wished there was a thousand of me saying she knows I would be a great fit I am completing more paperwork to ensure that I get this. The office she works in people have been gone on leave (military vacation) she was going through the emails and she said mine stood out to her. Again I will have to do another mental health evaluation 90 days upon return to Fort Campbell and do a FAST class to improve my GT score. She said she would push my packet to the top as during our phone conversation made her feel that I was a true and solid fit for a recruiter position. She also had said that the chances of me getting Maine is very good, due to the fact that not many people want or choose to go there. I am really excited and this has been the best news I have had all deployment and I wanted to share it with all of you.
