Well I have wrapped up my final call from the inmates reaching out to me from the God awful Franklin County jail that pass my number around in the jail or thier families who say a Champion story of my work that I do concerning the abuse in the jail ask me if thier loved ones can call me so I may minister to them or guide them to preparing to go to prison and do the right thing while behind bars and educate- better themselves. This particular man of 22 from near my house, 22second Street O Block says his case is in the news he had a hung jury yesterday and is innocent and wants me to tell him story of how his life of when he was 16 and gangbanging has effected his here and now. He wants the family of the man he is accused of killing to know thier loved ones killer is still out here on the streets and that makes him feel sad for them and worried for our neighborhood. His Mom has a shop out here that he worked at he says during the time of this club shooting and he swears that he gave up that gang life that he did as a young kid. He told me the other day that he saw his friend Tyler on the news with Sean Stevenson and he was so proud of him for being a part of Ending the Violence and I let him know that I was with Tyler today and I gave him his number as they grew up through this gang neighborhood violence as children and it was not good and he realizes that in court they showed many old pictures of him when he was in that life so now he faces life for trying to fit in as a young kid and in jail he sits alone with no one but himself and his ability to reflect and to pray that Justice is found in his next trial He would like a lie detector test and we are not discussing his case in detail but he has now called me three times requesting that his voice be heard and I know fully how it feels the be in that jail for months with no voice and so I am doing as he asked... I am not able to get into the jail to minister and calm- guide my people and help them prepare for either prison or coming home to do right and stay out of trouble so this is the way that God has made for me to do as he convicts me to and be a voice for the many times voiceless. I do not know if he is guilty or innocent but my gut feeling tells me that he is telling me the truth and some murderer is running the stress. Asking for a lie detector test is a huge risk but he wants to take one and that to me says a lot...
