Well I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and a safe New Years. Im back in the state and ready for big trout season. Just wanted to update everyone on whats going on. The website is in the works and should be ready to take payments by Monday (hopefully). Im glad to have Premier Yamaha back as our title sponsor. They never hesitate to support our spore and industry and I cant thank them enough. AutoNation Toyota will be with us again this year with some goodies for the winners and to give away to some lucky fishermen. Ive been getting a lot of questions from some new guys and girls about the rules. Entry and format will be the same as last year. Heres the basic rundown: These are 2-man, artificial only, live trout tournament. Wading is allowed and you draw numbers at the captains meeting for starting order. Entry fees will be $200 for the Weekend Warrior on the 7th and $500 for the 2-day Classic on the 26th & 28th. Both tournaments will have an optional Calcutta held at the captains meeting. Something new Im doing this year, Ill be having a video contest. Winner will receives package from AutoNation Toyota, a free shirt and whatever else I can scrounge up. The video can be of anything from the tourney; captains meeting, weigh-in, launch, the boat race, sticking a 10-pounder in your honey hole....whatever. Videos will be posted to this page and voted on. The most likes wins. I still have one sleeve left for sponsorship if youd like your company on this years shirt. Get with me for details.
