Here is the news from this weekend..... 6 - Accidents 4 - 911 Hangups - all Ok 5 - Alarms Res/Comm - all Ok Report of a stolen iPad at Waffle House - still under investigation Report of a child left in a car at Arkansas Bone and Joint - Gone upon arrival Report of child abuse at Walmart - still under investigation Shoplifting at Walmart - $205 in Tide detergent and 2 pillows - Kimberly Averitt located, stopped and arrested near Otter Creek - (#CELLFIE attached) That is a lot of #LAUNDRY!! 34 Total PD calls today, at least the weather was great! Parking lot accident- Sakura Delayed accident- Subject called to report he had struck a deer between Raymar and Andres Place on the service road. Assist Benton with locating a subject in Indian Springs about a stolen purse. Assisted fire department with lines down which caused a fire at Hwy 5 and Forest. Power was out for several hours in the area. 1 Alarm at Evolutions on Reynolds. Checked out ok Medical Assist on Fieldstone. 7 year old having seizures Abandon vehicle at Station 3 on Stillman. Vehicle is missing the seats but is not stolen at this time Loud noise complaint on Northeast 3rd St. Complainant stated males were urinating in the front yard and females were flashing their chest. Officers found the subjects to be watching a football game on a projector in the front yard. No urinating or chest flashing from anyone that was there. #FatalityAccident on I-30 Westbound just West of the 126 mile marker. Vehicle struck the inside wall causing it to roll. 2 passengers were transported by Ambulance to Saline Memorial and the driver was air lifted by MedFlight to Baptist due to his injuries. ( The driver of the vehicle later passed away due to his injuries and his wife is still in serious condition. The other passenger was treated and released later.) Shoplifter at Walmart, Kristen Morris selected approximately $514.27 worth of merchandise and attempted to leave the business without paying. (See Attached #CELLFIE) Around 4:30 pm, received another call of a shoplifter in custody at Walmart. Haley Frasure selected approximately $162.99 worth of merchandise and attempted to leave the business without paying. (See Attached #CELLFIE) Alarms at Bryant Motors, BR McGinty and JLC Communications. Businesses were secured. Reports of Harassing Communications at Alcoa Rd. and N. Reynolds Road.
