Well, I know I havent posted here in some time as I felt completely defeated and deflated. As far as the brakes on the car, we got screwed on that deal overall. Come to find out they didnt really do much of anything to the brakes but put on some USED brake pads and somehow managed to have to WELD a part of our rim for some reason and lost a lug(not the lug nut, the threaded piece that the lug nut goes on). Needless to say, we try not to drive the car much these days as we cant afford to fix the bloody thing, but she runs still. I do what I can to keep her that way. We have since moved from where we were living and lost a lot of things. We were unable to afford movers and ended up taking a week to move, putting 1500 miles on the moving truck in that time over Thanksgiving week/weekend. Now, we are both looking for work..any kind of work..to help pay the bills. The up side? The rent is $1300 cheaper. We have to pay our own electric and water/etc, estimating approximately $300-$350, maybe a little more, on top of the $500/mo rent. I dont know if anyone is really reading this and realize that times are tough for everyone, but I wanted to put out there that I am grateful for the well wishes I have received from those that have and a very special thanks to those that helped where they could. That being said, I am looking for work diligently and have been trying to figure out how to get ends to meet so that what we do have remains ours. I realize that the goal I set up there is obsolete, and obviously unrealistic, but dont really see any point in changing it as I will likely use this as a means to communicate with those that do keep me(us) in their prayers/thoughts/etc and know that it is appreciated.
