Well I learned a very valuable lesson today...copyright all of your photos if you use them in advertising anything that you sell!! I was a victim of a Chinese-based company Ali Express - Alibaba is producing and selling a design that is similar to mine but not exactly like it, however they obviously did a search and found my photos of my granddaughter stole it because it was not copyrighted and is using it in their advertising...which of course is illegal!! I have sought legal counsel and Im going to fight this as best I can. An American based company bought the items from that company and said they have permission to use my photo in their advertising, as soon as another Etsy seller informed me of this I immediately went on the photo on their Facebook page and posted a comment, they did take it down but then proceeded to harass me via email as I was on the phone with my attorney. Stupidly they gave me their name and phone number...I am not worried about the design being stolen I am worried about my granddaughters photo being used illegally, and want to warn anyone who may use any photo to make sure it is copyrighted!! I have posted the website in New Jersey who is promoting the item and using my photo, please go share that and make sure when you do you post a comment as to why you were sharing it otherwise my actual comments will not be shared!! I am also attaching screenshots from this person I want this to go viral everyone please share my status!!!!!
