Well..I let my mouth take over today..while shopping at Meijer tonight, I overheard these 2 women, 1 mother, 1 was daughter. They had an elderly man with them, I assumed it was the husband of the older woman. All I kept hearing was them screaming at him Get out of the way! God, this is why I dont take you anywhere! It took all I had in me to keep my mouth shut. This man had difficulty walking and had hearing aids in both ears. I patiently waited to go down a certain isle, he was standing next to their cart and I obviously didnt want to say excuse me and get him yelled at. Well, the daughter yelled at him to get out of my way. I politely said, No, really he is fine, I am not in a hurry. The daughter touched my arm and whispered in my ear while laughing, He is such a dumbass, you have a nice Christmas. I jerked my arm away from her and said, If you touch me again or yell at that sweet man, I will call security on your ass. How dare you treat him that way. Shame on both of you! The daughter looked back at me, shocked that I obviously wasnt as nice as she thought. The older lady looked at me and said, Didnt your parents teach you to respect your elders? I said, Mam I grew up in the south and never disrespected anyone, but you, you dont deserve respect at all. Then I said Merry Christmas to the older man who smiled at me and walked away.
