Well I need time to reflect on my week from one of the most - TopicsExpress

Well I need time to reflect on my week from one of the most darkest places I have ever had to go. I have had to watch the love of my life suffer from devastating injuries after a fall from heights onto concrete. After witnessing this horrible incident play out before my very eyes I have grown to realize that several things are true. Most extremely stressful events always happen in slow motion. No matter how slow you never are fast enough to intervene. No matter how hard you try to forget the moment that it happened you will never erase the memory nor will you close your eyes at night with out it replaying in your mind. Also no matter how hard you try to take their place it will never work. I have never felt so much like I failed my baby. My job being to protect her from injury and I dropped the ball. I can also say that when your placed in a horrible situation as this your years of training and the materials you learned yesterday all pour from your brain in a semi robotic format allowing you to preform what ever assistance you can when presented with the situation. I have never been so scared deeply to the core however seen all my training with such clarity. The only explanation I can offer you is Devine intervention. We have a very long hard road ahead of us and would like to ask you all to continue to pray for Susan Sims while we transition from a injury phase of our lives and on to total recovery phase. Please keep her in your prayers as we transition over to spinal rehabilitation.
