Well, I profoundly doubt anybody could ever justify calling yours truly a “child of God” … yes, I’m quoting that noblest of speeches, the Sermon on the Mount. And yet, something within me impelled me to assemble this enclosed graphic. Truth be told, I could be considered having disqualified myself as such with a certain youtube clip, the caption for which contains a plug for my novella, WAR DODGER. Incidentally, this clip has already drawn more than 3,700 views. … … well, only in a very tenuous way, does the following intersect with the topic of the graphic. And yet, I find myself strongly impelled to aver the following opinion about Penny, the female object of prurient interest for the television series THE BIG BANG THEORY. … oh, yeah, I should make absolutely clear that there’s an absolute abyss between Penny and the actress, who portrays Penny a “good time gal”. It should be made unmistakably clear that, in no way, is such girl less human or, for that matter, more human. … in general, a good time gal is the type of girl, with whom a young man sows “wild oats” … That said, here goes. Maybe, in one respect, the gods of sitcom television have made Penny an exception to the rule with regard to her being a good time gal. Just about every such girl I’ve encountered gets to be a wife without first being a nubile fiancée … in short, somebody’s girl friend, nobody’s fiancée. Usually, such a woman settles, and then gets married … ah, please note that, in no way, am I denigrating such women. In ever so many instances, at least, a former good time gal has proven to be a marvelous wife and mother. I suppose I’ve said as much in many of the facebook pages that follow that aforementioned sitcom. I believe I’ve adorned many such with my “bazinga” calling card that refers to Dr Sheldon Lee Cooper …. in way, his looming denial by CalTech of academic tenure could be considered a crying shame .. he knows so much about football, and likely enough, for him, it’s a guilty pleasure … from there, it’s easy enough to surmise the following … like so many other men, this good theoretical physicist is a “frustrated quarterback” … … post scriptum … my three doughnuts to somebody’s two, Dr Sheldon Lee Cooper will be denied tenure ….
