Well, I stepped foot in my first tattoo parlor the other day... I was there for support... I was talking to the guy who was giving the tattoos and I told him that I didnt have a tattoo and he said, Do you want me to help you with that? And I said, No way!!! A lot of my friends have them, but I chose not to... There are many reasons why... 1) I want to be different... and so many people are getting them, then I will be one of the few who does not have one. 2) I wanted to keep a clean canvas... 3) I love change! I would get bored and want it gone one day if I had it... 4) Since I used to model in high school, I realized that if I decided to dress up in an elegant ballgown and had a low cut back line, I wouldnt want anything to take away from the look that I was going for... I even have friends who have that their eyebrows tattooed in or permanent eyeliner... but knowing me, I would want that to be different as well... But saying all of that... I do appreciate art, detail and someone caring about their work... and I got his business card to give to my friends for a reference. I love change! I could not have anything permanent like that! But I do believe that if you are going to get something that will always be with you, find someone who does wonderful work!! So, I would suggest that if you have decided that you really want a tattoo... go to Pins & Needles at Villaggio in Bossier City and ask for Tommy. I was impressed with his work!! As for me, I prefer to keep things simple... and be boring! It is all about personal preference... and I chose to keep a clean slate...
