Well, I thought today went great. I was very happy with our performance (not perfect, but heck, neither am I). We got a lot of positive comments from various friends of mine. One good friend said he loved Mustang Sally. Said he couldnt keep his leg still, he wanted to dance! And this was the former Mayor of Signal Mountain! He also didnt realize I was in the band at that point until Wally announced me. So, good start. Now, for the future... Wed or Thursday evening this week would be good for me for next rehearsal. Ideally, 5-7(ish) would be ideal for me. Im working nights all next weekend, so it kind of sucks from a rehearsal point of view. I would suggest we look at the songs weve been throwing around and just go through as many as possibly, quick and dirty, and start adding them to the set list. We can build up a good repertoire of 40-50 standards pretty easily i think, then start adding things that require more intensive work. What do yall think?
