Well I tried to get Luke Bryan tickets today as I was riding in a shuttle to board a plane back home from Canada. I was all logged in to Ticketmaster using my cell phone...my credit card was updated and I even added a 2nd card for good measure. I saw the countdown to the opening of ticket sales and feared the countdown may end about the same time we arrived at the airport and yep thats what happened. My heart was racing and I was counting down like it was New Years Eve or something! But I was ready despite my internet going in and out! So the countdown was over and sales began. Now loading, loading the website said. Then finally I can choose # of tickets and hit enter. I do so and now they want to make sure Im not a robot and ask me to type in some crazy phrase I cant read...especially as Im weaving my suitcases around an airport! So I type in the phrase and then stop to print my boarding pass from the kiosk cuz I suppose I cant attend concert if I dont get home from Canada! Do that and now my auto correct on my phone has changed the stupid phrase I couldnt read to start with so have to once again say Im not a robot. Now they want to check our bags and then we need to go thru Customs and they really frown upon cell phone use in Customs. But its Luke Bryan! Now my phone is saying unexpected delay but should be 8 minutes, 7 minutes and then 2 minutes and they say dont refresh or leave your page or lose your place in line. Well the line to customs was moving much faster than the Luke Bryan line. And the 2 minute wait they claimed was way more than that! Maybe if I leave my phone on in my coat pocket I might get tickets when thru security. Or they might arrest me and I stay in Canada in which case I could probably see Luke perform in Canada! Well I decide I should probably abide by the rules and I shut my phone down and I dont get tickets. Once Im through security I google tickets and see multiple resellers with 100s of tickets for sale! Some as high as $1000! How did they get through the Im not a robot phrase etc and were able to purchase so many tickets? Very very disappointing! Somethings not right here thats for sure!! I guess I wont be seeing Lukes pearly whites anytime soon!
