Well I usually prefer to have low key birthdays. My family and friends would not let this decade buster slip by in my usual fashion. Last Thursday my awesome sister flew us to Naples to LaPlaya Beach Resort and Spa for the weekend. No greater gift than listening the sounds of the waves! The weather did not cooperate, but the spa treatments and retail therapy made up for it. Great dinner at Trulucks with chocolate bread pudding and cherries jubilee for dessert. Yesterday was filled with lots of birthday wishes, a surprise party from my kindergarten class and great dinner out with wonderful friends. How did 50 get here so fast?
