Well, IVE had Some Fun today... NEVER have had one of em threaten to ARREST me... Got a call from a NICE Indian-from-Delhi fellow Steve Johnson, & he said he was with International Revenue Service-I THINK, since his accent was so thick-Anyhow, he had papers to ARREST me, as I owed them BUNCHES of Money under the Act of 2008, whatever THAT was. I listened to him for awhile, then I told him that HE was full of BS, the call was BS, & I hung up. Went down to the Rogersville Police Dept to Turn Myself In, they got a chuckle out of it, as did the nice folks at the DAs office next door. I even got rolled eyes & grins from the ladies at the Sheriffs Office when I turned myself in up there.... They told me earlier this week, a little old lady had come in TEARFULLY w/the same story, MOST upset, & they had to work to calm her down. Well, all was well til later on this afternoon, ANOTHER Nice Young Man calls back w/same spiel. THICK Delhi accent & all. Then, he starts wanting my bank info, & I suggested he do something that is likely physically impossible, & thus began a Cursing Match between us. He held on longer than I figured he would, I was getting primed to go all Full Metal Jacket/R. Lee Ermey on him, but the swine hung up. Actually, I kinda LIKED calling him EVERY name my FOUL & Private-School Depravity-trained imagination could dredge up... Hehehehe.... And I was quite dismayed that the Cops he PROMISED were on their way to haul me off to the Calaboose never materialized... But, theres always tomorrow, & Scam Callers RARELY give up. By the bye, THEIR number is 202-241-2584. It IS a Washington, DC number, but NOBODY there sounds ANYTHING like someone from DC...Doncha Jes LOVE IT, Chicka-Boom...?!?
