Well, John is home again after a last minute fiasco at the hospital, wherein they diagnosed him with diabetes. Were not getting too excited about it, as his sugar is typically elevated on iv steroids. But until hes back to normal, hes on meds and testing twice a day. He was also sent home with instructions to order oxygen for nighttime use, which he intends to ignore. Well see how he sleeps tonight, but I cant fault him for trying to do without it. Further to all this, his breathing is still somewhat labored, and hes exhausted, but his sense of humor is still intact. When informed that a social worker would be calling tomorrow, he said he fully intends to report me for elder abuse if I fail to cater to his every whim. Cause yknow, I dont already. ;)
