Well Lexis steering is hooked up partially now. When we lifted her bug (3 inch lift) it radically changed the angle and we couldnt hook up her steering shaft. So today we drilled out the toe board and made a new spot for the steering shaft to go through. Now we still have to fabricate a mount under the dash to hold up the steering column inside the car. After all the welding is done and grinded smooth I will coat the inside of the trunk (front) and gas tank with bed liner. The goal is to rust proof and make it water tight with some sound deadening.
