Well Luna made it out of surgery. The doctor said it was a much longer and more difficult surgery than he had expected and we are lucky she is such a strong dog to make it through it. He had to make four incisions - three in her intestines and one in her stomach. Her bowel is very inflamed and needs to be watched carefully or it may become critical. She wasnt awake yet when the doctor called me so he told me to call back later tonight to check on her... At least she is out and can start to recover now. Thank you God.
