Well MacDaddy had a rough day today. He just could not get in the grove. He did well in PT he walked 150 ft. 2 times, once with his tall walker and the 2nd time with the therapist. The rest of his day was pretty much a wash. Everytime he tried to eat he got the hiccups so he would stop eating. He didnt want to stay up very long either so he was in bed by 1:00 and didnt get back up today. In all fairness he had to have an EEG this afternoon too so he was not asleep the entire time. Im beginning to get a clearer understanding of this marathon we are running with his recovery. I guess my heart was just always hoping things would be different for Raymond, but the truth is he still has a long road ahead and a lot of work. Its not that Im upset or anything, just wanted things to be different for him. So, the road is long but we will be together, and together we can do whatever it will take. My prayer is that God continue to give me direction and strength, that I know when to let go and hand my worries over to him and that he stay close to Raymond to help him remember and re-learn.
